  • Increase in Membership Dues Effective January 1, 2015 The NCPDP Board of Trustees has approved a modest $20 increase for 2015 to help meet higher expenses for member services and support. Effective January 1, 2015, NCPDP annual membership dues will be $695. If you have questions, please contact Jenny Powers at jpowers@ncpdp.org or 480-477-1000, ext. 143.
  • Call for NCPDP Young Professionals: We Need Your Feedback! NCPDP is committed to engaging young professionals and developing leadership opportunities within our organization. NCPDP is looking for feedback to enhance your membership experience. A team of young professional members have agreed to lead this effort. They would like you to complete a short survey. The purpose of the survey is to identify NCPDP young professionals in their 20s and 30s and learn more about how we can further engage you in NCPDP. It will take less than five minutes to complete and a summary of survey results will be shared with participants. The leadership team for this effort includes: Mariel Brechner, MBA, MPH, project manager - Pharma & Retail Strategy-Government Programs & Standards, Express Scripts; Jessica Goins, MBA, senior director, Trade Relations, Omnicare, Inc.; John Hoppesch, MBA, director, CenterX; Michelle White, MBA, market segment manager, Wolters Kluwer Health; and Nicole Russell, government affairs specialist, NCPDP (staff liaison).
  • FDB Donates $10,000 for Research to Optimize ePrescribing

    FDB (First Databank, Inc.) has made a $10,000 unrestricted donation to NCPDP Foundation. The announcement was made on November 11, 2014 at a "Welcome to Indy" Reception that FDB hosted for over 200 attendees of the NCPDP 2014 Educational Summit and Joint Technical Work Group Meetings. The $10,000 donation will be matached dollar for dollar with matching funds approved by the Board of Trustees of NCPDP.

  • Call for Nominations: Board of Trustees and Standardization Committee

    The NCPDP Nominating Committee is calling on the membership for nominations for the Board of Trustees election. Participation on the Board of Trustees offers an opportunity to be involved in high-level decision-making and to take part in shaping the Council's future.

    NCPDP is also announcing the Call for Nominations of the Standardization Committee (co-chairs). The Board of Trustees will approve the appointments in January 2015.

    Guidelines and eligibility are listed on the nomination forms, which are available on the Member Portal.  Nominations are due by December 31, 2014.

  • New Director of Standards Development is Margaret Weiker

    Join us in welcoming Margaret Weiker to the NCPDP staff as our new director of standards development. As a member of NCPDP since 1993, Weiker has been highly instrumental in developing NCPDP standards, and she knows the NCPDP standards development process inside and out.
