  • NCPDP Representatives in Washington D.C.
    NCPDP representatives traveled to Washington, D.C. this week to meet with policymakers and continue NCPDP’s Edvocacy campaign going into the 114th Congress.  Darren Townsend, NCPDP chair, Michele Vilaret Davidson, NCPDP chair-elect and Charlie Oltman, NCPDP PDMP TG lead and past-chair along with NCPDP staff Steve Mullenix and Nicole Russell met with staff from 11 congressional offices during the two-day visit. 
    The focus of the visit was to continue educating policymakers on NCPDP’s national PDMP model, which could be used to combat the growing prescription drug abuse problem.  Combatting prescription drug abuse is seen as a bipartisan issue and NCPDP continues to gain momentum in building awareness of the use of NCPDP standards as part of a national solution.

  • Increase in Membership Dues Effective January 1, 2015 The NCPDP Board of Trustees has approved a modest $20 increase for 2015 to help meet higher expenses for member services and support.   • Call for NCPDP Young Professionals: We Need Your Feedback! NCPDP is committed to engaging young professionals and developing leadership opportunities within our organization. NCPDP is looking for feedback to enhance your membership experience. A team of young professional members have agreed to lead this effort. They would like you to complete a short survey. The purpose of the survey is to identify NCPDP young professionals in their 20s and 30s and learn more about how we can further engage you in NCPDP. It will take less than five minutes to complete and a summary of survey results will be shared with participants.
