The joint NCPDP-HL7 Pharmacist Care Plan C-CDA is the subject of an Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHigh Impact Pilot (HIP) being initiated through partnership with Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) using funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) to test new reimbursement models for community pharmacies serving Medicaid, Medicare, dually eligible, and NC Health Choice beneficiaries. Six vendors are participating in the pilot covering services to a population of over three million Medicaid, Medicare, and dual-eligible beneficiaries.
