Healthcare Technology: Removing the Digital Divide for Pharmacies

  • Tuesday, May 3, 2022
  • 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Pharmacists are an integral part of the patient care team, with 51 percent of patients relying on their pharmacist more during the COVID-19 pandemic. Innovations, including digital pharmacies and automating manual tasks, paired with rising adoption of telehealth are changing how healthcare is delivered. However, meeting evolving needs of patients isn’t without challenges. Half of pharmacists don’t have time to do their jobs effectively, with too many non-clinical duties and abandoning in-workflow processes to complete manual tasks are frequent complaints. But an ecosystem of harmonious healthcare technology solutions can help fuel the future of pharmacy to deliver care patients expect.
