Prioritizing Pharmacy Measure Concepts for Value-Based Arrangements

  • Wednesday, May 4, 2022
  • 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm

As community pharmacies continue to innovate and offer enhanced services to patients, it is crucial that they have the tools to demonstrate their value within the larger healthcare system. To support this need, the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) collaborated with the Community Pharmacy Foundation (CPF) to launch an initiative to identify and prioritize measure concepts that can be incorporated into value-based payment programs. This presentation provides an overview of the project, describes the final prioritized list of short, medium, and long-term measure concepts, and explains how these findings will guide future pharmacy measure development and use in value-based arrangements.
