In the last few years, the world has experienced many unprecedented events – not only a pandemic, but also “100-year” floods, hurricanes, wildfires, power outages, and more. Pharmacy professionals must be prepared to anticipate (where possible) and respond to these emergencies in real time. This session will discuss the evolving regulatory landscape for pharmacy emergency response, including best practices for preparation, operating during an emergency, and post-emergency protocols.
