Improving Prescriber-Pharmacist ePrescribing Collaboration from a Prescriber’s Perspective

  • Wednesday, May 8, 2024
  • 2:45 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Care models have moved away from individual provider care and are approaching patients with team-based care. Pharmacists are part of the care team, making message exchanges through tools, such as CancelRx and RxChange, particularly important to ensure harmonization and effectiveness of medications. This session will discuss new research on how standardized e-Prescribing and different message types contribute to improved patient safety and coordinated care decisions and identify opportunities to better align the medication lifecycle with prescribers and pharmacists.
