The 2025 Annual Conference will feature track sessions covering a broad range of educational, informative healthcare and pharmacy topics. Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) units are available for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Innovation Starts Here: A Legal Update Regarding the PBM Industry and Emerging Trends

This session provides an update on the newest laws and regulations that affect PBMs, pharmacies, plans, and others involved in the prescription benefit industry. The update includes such laws as pricing transparency, any willing provider and steerage, credentialing, provider mandates and contracting, MAC, pharmacy audits, discount cards, benefit mandates, licensing and utilization management, among others. The update would include laws passed in 2023 as well as an overview of the first quarter of 2024.
